Overdone is Out. Restorative Aesthetics is In.

One of our main goals in starting Revisions was not only making aesthetics reasonably affordable and accessible, but breaking the stigma around “having work done”. As women we are held to many impossible standards, none more so than in the realm of beauty. The early days of injection aesthetics often produced artificial looking results, setting the stage for stigmatizing an entire subspecialty in aesthetic medicine. We are excited to be a part of this field during an important time when we are seeing trends shift; in many settings away from hyaluronic acid injection fillers and toward biostimulator agents. Biostimulators act to stimulate your body’s natural properties to aesthetically enhance a particular area, lending to more natural results over time rather than a more immediate augmentation. Sculptra is one of our favorite biostimulators for use in the cheek, nasolabial, marionette and mental (chin) wrinkles. It is a superficial injection that deposits poly-L-lactic acid in the subcutaneous region under the skin. Over time this solution acts like scaffolding under the skin, using your body's own collagen and elastin reserves to restore areas which tend to accrue the most volume loss as we age. So instead of under eye filler for deep hallows, think Sculptra to cheeks to restore under eye support. You can kind of think of Sculptra as traditional filler’s more granola cousin- achieves similar results in a lot of clinical scenarios without the traditional upkeep of filler and without the risk of migration of product or looking “overdone”.

To celebrate rolling out Sculptra we are offering a free treatment area of Dysport (20 unit maximum- $240 value) with the purchase of an initial Sculptra treatment. We are so excited to show you what a difference this little “kiss of collagen” can make- reach out today with any questions or to schedule!
